Staying curious, adaptable, and learning continuously

I was recently interviewed for a podcast. Shiv, a technology veteran and the host of "Software People Stories," asked me questions that required me to dig deep.

Most of the podcast discussed the challenges of scaling as an entrepreneur, particularly prioritizing the important over the urgent.

On the Launchable front, the conversation delved into how AI is set to revolutionize the lives of software engineers, with a particular focus on Launchable's distinctive approach in this domain.

Another part of the conversation was how we identified the domain to tackle.

This podcast is a treasure trove for all, whether you're considering a leap into entrepreneurship, an engineer exploring the potential of AI, or a mid-career professional contemplating a change.

A snippet from the Software People Stories podcast page:

... He highlights the importance of clear communication and context setting to empower his team and free up his time. He also mentions using a prioritization technique where he identifies the top three important tasks for both work and personal life.

The overwhelming pace of changes in the AI space got me to start building a mind map of things. Others are likely in the same space. For the moment, I am picking things that catch my fancy and sharing them. Let me know if you find them useful (or not!).

However, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the AI-powered toothbrush for $220. This is the peak AI hype cycle in motion. The trough of disillusionment cannot be far away.

  • AI analyzing your trash: This news, on the other hand, is super positive. A staggering 30-40% of food grown in the US is trashed, and companies are using AI to analyze food waste, inventory, and purchases to reduce this wastage.
